Chabot College offers Anatomy and Physiology in the summer session. Most of the sections are in a partial Distance Education format. This DE course is done mostly via Internet and use of a CD to study the lecture and some of the labs. During the session, the student also needs to come to campus on six different days to do those lab exercises which can't be easily done via distance ed means. Emphasis on human anatomy and physiological principles at the cellular and systemic level. Designed primarily for majors in paramedic and medical assisting programs and pre-medical students who wish to explore the realm of anatomy and physiology. May be offered in distance education delivery format. 3 hrs lecture, 3 hrs lab. Transfer: CSU, UC; CSU/GE:B2, B3; IGETC: Area 5B and Lab; AA/AS.
