Application documents are completed and submitted before the deadline
Where necessary, departmental approval is obtained for module selection
Confirmation of acceptance or notification of any queries is e-mailed to the applicant
On-line registration details are e-mailed directly to the applicant
Applicants coming for one year are e-mailed details about applying for accommodation online
Applicants coming for one semester and summer school students are e-mailed room
allocation details
6) Induction and pre-arrival information, including airport pickup details, is e-mailed to the
applicant.
2) Making an application
Step by step
You can apply to the University of Worcester as:
 an exchange student for one or two semesters if your home university has an existing
exchange agreement with us
 a fee-paying Study Abroad student for one or two semesters s with approval to submit an
application from your home university
 an applicant for a UW Summer School
Step 1: identifying your study plan / Summer School
Discuss with your home university the modules that you should take at UW.
Modules available
All study proposals must be filled in on an official Learning Agreement form.
IMPORTANT Module levels and credit values
Modules beginning with a 1 are first year, 2 second year and 3 final year.
Modules shown as 15 UW credits are equal to 7.5 ECTS credits.
Modules shown as 30 UW credits run across the whole academic year and equal to 15 ECTS credits
(not suitable for students coming for 1 semester only.
IMPORTANT
Learning Agreements which are not signed and stamped by the coordinators from the home
university and by the student cannot be accepted.

Step 2: application form
Exchange and Study Abroad students,
After approval from your home university, you should fill in and send the following documents
1) Study Abroad Application Form including the Learning Agreement
The following mandatory documents must be attached to the application form:

3) A valid copy of Identify card or passport*
4) Evidence of Insurance cover
Summer School students

2) Evidence of insurance cover
IMPORTANT
Without a copy of identification document, we cannot register you as a student at University of
Worcester
*A valid copy of Passport means that period of validity must be at least three months longer than
the period of validity of a visa requested to be issued.
Step 3: sending the application
The complete application with all necessary documents must be sent before established deadline to:

Application deadlines for Exchange and Study abroad students:
For Semester 1: 30 April
For Semester 2: 31 October
(Summer School application deadlines may vary)
Please bear in mind that until the completed forms are sent, you have not actually started the
application process for your study programme.
Step 4: acceptance
You will be informed about the acceptance of your application only after we receive the documents
as explained above and not before the application deadline.
