Fall Preview Events for Popular Colleges 2015-16
Baylor University:
Invitation to Excellence: November 22-21, January 22-23
Invitation to Excellence is a special weekend program that showcases a few of the exciting academic opportunities Baylor has to offer.
Participants receive a $2,000 scholarship and are eligible to apply for a full tuition Faculty Scholarship. Prospective students who meet
the qualifications are encouraged to apply to attend the event. Invitation to Excellence is specifically designed for high-achieving high
school seniors who have scored 1300 or above on the SAT (math & critical reading) or a 30 or above on the ACT. Students interested
in pre-med or pre-law should consider applying for the January event because it coincides with Baylor2 Interview Day. For details and

Texas A&M:
Game Day Application Workshops: October 3rd and November 7th
Game Day Application Workshops provide high school seniors the opportunity to review the admissions process as well as gain helpful
hints to complete a competitive application. Admissions Counselors will be available to answer questions and read essays. Financial

Aggieland Information Day: Monday, November 23rd
Prospective students, specifically high school seniors and transfers, interested in attending Texas A&M can experience all that we offer
during Aggieland Information Day. During Aggieland Information Day, participants will learn about the admissions process,
opportunities for financial aid and our academic colleges. Additionally, participants will tour campus, view the residence halls and learn
more about the history and traditions that make our university so unique. During the day, participants will have the opportunity to meet
with faculty, staff and academic advisors, as well as have access to resource tables where they will learn about our majors and

High School Leadership Conference (JR, SR) – Spring 2016
This program enhances the development of high school leaders and motivates students to realize the value of effective leadership and
to incorporate these skills into their future endeavors. Students discuss issues concerning communication, diversity and risk
management through team-building exercises, roundtable discussions and leadership speeches. The conference includes information
on delegation, communication, diversity, risk management, teamwork, and personality profiles. We are looking for delegates who are
active in their schools or communities, striving to improve leadership skills, and highly motivated and willing to explore new learning

S.E.A.L. (Seniors Experiencing Aggie Life) 2015 will take place November 13th - November 15th
The S.E.A.L. Conference is a three day program in the fall semester where high school seniors get a first-hand look of what Texas A&M
University is all about. Participants will get the opportunity to take part in discussion groups with members of the Aggie Recruitment
Committee, as well as connect with other high school seniors from across the nation. In addition to discussion groups, participants will
also get the chance to be a part of a mixer and spend a couple of nights in the residence halls with current students. The S.E.A.L.
Conference is limited to 120 high school seniors. The participants will attend Midnight Yell Practice, a tailgate event hosted by The
Aggie Recruitment Committee, and watch a Texas A&M football game. Students must attend the ENTIRE conference. As a S.E.A.L.
participant, you will participate in (among other things) yell practice, Fightin' Texas Aggie football game, tour of A&M campus and
renowned facilities, residence life, discussion group time with current students, sitting in on an A&M Class and a mixer. Registration for

Longhorn Monday programs will be offered Oct. 12 (registration opens early September) and Nov. 23(registration opens early
October). Open to all prospective freshmen. Early registration is recommended, as slots fill quickly.
SMU:
Mustang Days – Friday, November 13th. Mustang Days give you a 360° view of SMU in a more formal group setting. Get the inside
track on admission, scholarships, financial aid and campus life. Throw your toughest questions at our student panel, and let our deans
and professors tell you everything you want to know about our academic programs. Maybe even bring a friend or two! Registration

TCU:
Monday at TCU: September 21, October 5, October 26, November 16, December 7, January 25, March 28, and April 25
The day includes a campus tour, residence hall tour, breakfast and lunch on campus, special interest sessions and meetings with
faculty and financial aid representatives. Because of the program’s popularity, Monday at TCU reservations must be made as soon as

University of Tulsa:
Tulsa Time Day Program - Open to students graduating from high school in 2016. Monday, October 12 th. See our beautiful
campus firsthand, visit with professors, staff and students about all aspects of the TU experience, and meet other students who are
applying to TU. Discover how our University can meet your individual interests and needs. Registration is required and must be
received at least one week prior to the program. Parents may attend the program but must preregister. You will receive an email
