Career Development Fellowships for funding commencing in 2015 Career Development Fellowships are open to early to mid-career researchers in Australia who have a sustained track record of significant research output. Career Development Fellowships are awarded at two levels; CDF Level 1 for applicants who have held their PhD qualification for more than two but less than seven years; and CDF Level 2 for those who have held their PhD qualification for more than seven but less than 12 years. The Career Development Fellowship scheme is highly competitive, attracting 431 applications this round with 58 awarded funding in first round offers. A further six offers were later made due to additional funds received through co-funding and declined first round offers. The applications listed below were approved for funding by the Minister for Health, the Hon. Peter Dutton MP.
