 Red Ribbon week begins Friday
 College Fair interesting and informative, schools sent representatives from all over
the country to attend

Principal Report
 Site Updates – “A Masked Ball” Friday night and Saturday afternoon of Halloween
weekend
 PLUS Awards Assembly students to be recognized for their successes on academics
as well as citizenship.
 RAPTOR-system to scan license, does check to check background of visitors
 Facilities Updates –
 Restrooms-finished, keys functional
 Argovitz-official naming to be assigned soon, donation by Argovitz to help
student athletes as well as a sports medicine program.
 Video Scoreboard-proposal to install (jumbo-tron) donated, awaiting approval
by board

Old Business
 Trend Data Review – 2013/14 - 2014/15
o CELDT Testing data
2013 not met, 2015 met (AMAO 1 10% growth, AMAO 2 five years or more
17% growth; 179 students took CELDT this past month.
o CAHSEE data
2013-14 ELA 83 %pass, 46% proficient; 2014-15 ELA 87.1% passed, 56.5%
proficient; Math 2013 81.2%, proficient 58.5 %, Life Science CST 2013 52%
pass, 2014 44.9 % pass
o CST Science data
o Climate data75 % of kids involved in extracurricular activities, Programs (AVID,
CAFE, RACE) 35% involvement, 40% of kids take a performing arts class of
some sort. Behavior is down by half, attendance is up almost a percent.

SBAC data student data shows RMHS is higher than district average

New Business
 Project 2 Inspire presentation-Dr. Lynn presenting
 Parent Center, open since March 2015 (Located at Baristo and Farrell by PSHS) to
increase student success by involving parents. Program to begin January of 2015 to
help parents become leaders at sites and have parent involvement and assistance at
sites. Program is taught by parents to parents to help parents navigate the system and
process to help their students to be successful. Program/12 modules/aligned with
district and school goals. Goal for RMHS is to begin in January. Parent shared her
experience in the modules and how going through the modules gave her the
knowledge to help her son become successful here at RMHS as well as her other
children who are at the university level.
 Approval of New SPSA-additional funding has been given to RMHS in Title 1, to be
spent by the end of fiscal year (June 1), summer school advanced math to allow kids
to move forward, graphing calculators for integrated math, tutoring (general and
pathways as well as athletics and media center), English Learner growth, Ophelia
Project, AVID training, academies, more summer school options for credit recovery,
Hapara, wireless hotspots, more chromebooks, parent connection, project 2 inspire,
PLUS, climate building activities, leadership character building

ELAC/DELAC Updates
 New SBAC testing and how that looks, showed the importance of the test and why
kids are taking it as well as the new reclassification status, and the new parent center.

