Introducing a new letter and the present singular form of verb to love ( بــح) and slaughter ( حو ب)

Introducing the verb to love and say (declares- reveal) in their present form with the five singular subject pronouns . These two verbs have been chosen because both include the letter

ح

in its different positions.

All this will be done through different activities done in class and others that will be given as homework.

Warm up: Reviewing quickly the following letters on the board : أ– ب- ي- ن– ت- ث- ه–

Writing the letter ح, sounding it , then writing the two verbs حــــب -

حوب and ask students to try to read the two words by sounding each letter then trying to join them to read the word

Then we read the two letters , saying their meaning and circling the letter , hcae ni ح stressing on the difference in the way the letter is written according to its position.

Then we will give them activity handout 1 which is a practice on reading and writing the two verbs in their present form with the five singular subject pronouns.

This will be done in class and through it the students will see that for the two verbs the same prefix is added at the beginning according to the change of the pronoun and also the ending in some cases differ :

I will give them the homework sheet which focuses on the same concept : practicing the different prefixes added to both verbs with different singular pronouns and practicing reading the sentence written

Activity two : Word puzzle : Search for the word : I will give them the instructions clearly after giving them the handout where they will have to find in every horizontal line one of the ten words given to them and also to write the word twice in the empty blank next to each word.

If the time doesn’t permit us to finish activity handout 2 in class , then they will be asked to finish it as part of their homework

Closure :

Reviewing the two verbs orally in their five present forms with the five singular subject pronouns.
