QUICK & EASY
SHOWS ON THE GO...
WITH PRODUCTS YOU KNOW!
By Carol Brown
People are time crunched in today's society so it's important we create alternative parties that fit their busy
lifestyles. Customers don't necessarily want to sit at a party for 1-2 hours...that went out with Denim Jumpers!
*Here are a few of the different types of parties I offer to my customers:
*Catalog Shows-They're easy...but do you really get future business from these types of shows?
*Stop-and-Shop-Set up a display of 10-15 products. Customers stop by the hosts home (or yours) and grab a
quick bite to eat. You show them the products and offer ideas. Give them a sneak peak of the upcoming products
and tell them the benefits of hosting a party. Book their show for the following month rather than several months
out. Customers place their orders and leave at their convenience. It's the ideal party for customers that have very
busy lifestyles. The Stop-and-Shop Parties are usually held for 1-2 hours.
*Dinner Parties-Offer a variety of menu options that are quick and easy to prepare. I do a lot of Italian Dishes at
my shows. Share the recipes with your guests. Do a 15-20 minute product demonstration while they are eating
their food. These usually take app. 1 hour.
*Office Party-These can be done during lunch or right after work. Take no more than 1-2 bags of products.
Hosts often order Pizza for everyone. This show should take about 30-40 minutes.
Focus You Shows On What You Have-As consultants, we seem to always focus on what's new instead of what's
new to our customers. Most of my sales at parties come from Core Line Products in the Wishlist. Recently, I
held a home party with the items below along with our Picnic Feature Products. All 18 of the products I sold to
guests in attendance at the party were from the Wishlist and the majority were the products listed below. With a
few outside orders, the show was over $1,000.
*Product DemonstrationCake Basket w/Riser/Lid-Tell the J.W./Grandma Bonnie Story of how the Cake Basket came about. Talk about
how the women of Dresden wrote their names on the handles. All these products work great with the Cake
Basket:
Grandma Bonnie Pie Plate-Ideal for pies and dips
Woven Dish Cover-Fits the Grandma Bonnie Pie Plate, Dinner Plate (great for heating food in the microwave)
Medium Mixing Bowl-It's a punch bowl on the go! Turn the Med. Mixing Bowl upside down and place the Lg.
Mixing Bowl on top (upright). Use the 11" Silicone Cover or Woven Dish Cover on top for coverage when
toting.
Large Mixing Bowl-Great for salads! Use the 11" Silicone Cover or Woven Dish Cover on top. Place ice in the
Cake Protector to keep your salads cold.
11" Silicone Cover-Fits on the Pie Plate, Lg. Mixing Bowl and many of our other Pottery pieces.
8x8 Baking Dish-Ideal in the Cake Basket for serving brownies or other Summer casseroles.

microwave.
Small Handled Casserole-Fits perfectly in the Cake Basket for your Summer casseroles.
8-In-1 Entertainer-Tote this in the Cake Basket for all your entertaining needs.
The Lidded Brasier, 2 1/4-Quart Dutch Oven and 4-Quart Dutch Oven also fit in the Cake Basket.
So, out of the 9 products listed, how many do you already own? I'm sure you have enough of these products to do
a short demonstration. These products are called "Core Line" for a reason...they are the core of your business.
So, pull out those Core Line Products you have and see what current products we have that will work with them.
Put those older products to work for you to increase your sales and make lots of $$$!!!
