Everyone knows the famous story of Romeo and
Juliet, there was a castle with a balcony, but is it just
a fantasy, here you will know the truth…
The story says that Romeo went to visit Juliet at night and he
saw her at the balcony. That is one of the most famous scenes of
the story and one of the most romantic. It is said that Juliet lived in
the street Capello 27 but they change it to Capuletto, here is the
castle of Juliet, but anyone knows if they really exist.
There are many castles, but the most important one is in Verona,
the castle was created in the XIII century, many years ago from the
story wrote by Shakespeare, but some people think that the castle
is a big lie because Shakespeare wrote that Romeo and Juliet where
from Vicenza, so that is another reason why anyone is sure about
the truth. In 30 km from there is the castle of Romeo, but that
aren´t the only castles that they had, they had summer castles and
winter castles so that could be one of those, because there are
other two castles in Vicenza that are said that they are the castles
of Romeo and Julie, but anyone knows.
The arquitecture of the castle is incredible, it has beautiful
handmade lights of blown glass, there are many colorful flowers
that bring life to the castle, there are hydrangeas and red french
roses, but the castle isn´t sad and white, the castle is mainly made
with brown tones. The castle has an inspirational look, there is a
beautiful balcony that has a type of classic style from the century
XIII and below there is a magnificent statue of Juliet.
Actually the castle is a tourism place for the tourist to visit, but in
the last year the actual owners of the castle, decided to became the
castle like a church, because now you can marry in the balcony of
Juliet, and below the balcony there is a wall where the just married
write love notes and they stick them there. The prices to get
married there are very expensive, if you prepay it costs 900 euros
and for people of the community of Europe it costs 700 euros, but if
you want to pay the classic price it costs 1200 euros, but the money
is not the most important, just the love between the lovers.
