Prayer theme for the week
We make good choices because our lives are alive with God’s love.
Global Children’s Challenge - Class 2
This challenge has now finished, there was a fault in the system
recording our final steps so we are not sure where our journey
ended, we will let you know when this has been resolved. The
children should all be commended for their participation in this
challenge.
R.E. – Baptism topic in Class 1
Please would it be possible for children to bring in any items linked
to their baptism eg: certificate, candle, gown for Wednesday. We
will be very careful with them. Thank you. Jean Brumby
The “Autumn Fair” will be held in Egton Village Hall on
Saturday 17

November between 10.30am and 1pm.

PTA Autumn Fair at Egton Village Hall
There
will be a variety of stalls which will include cakes, tombola and
a variety of craft stalls, also a school stall which will be
selling Christmas cards and crafts made by the children.
We
are looking for contributions of cakes and tombola prizes and
also help to run stalls etc. All welcome, tell your family and
friends to come along!
House Points
The winning houses at the end of last week was the
”Barn Owls” and “Kingfishers” both with a total of 56 points.
Community Library
The Community Library is opening in the Parish Rooms tomorrow from 3.15 to 5.15pm. It
will be open every Tuesday at the same time and also Saturdays from 10am to 12 noon. All
members of the community are welcome.
Snow Policy
Please find enclosed our snow policy (as its getting to that time of year!) and please look at
its contents carefully.

Health & Safety – non school children
We have been reviewing the risk assessments and the Local Authority have added a
statement saying that ‘non-school children’ are not to be allowed on playground equipment
at pick up time. Sorry!
