Port Pirie station wish to borrow a gazebo for the Kadina Show
Succession plan – Graham will be away for a week prior to the next market, keen
for someone to take the market phone.
Robert Venning: email from PP Rod – good week at cricket in Nottingham – survived
with only a sore calf, now in Scotland. Thankyou letter for sponsoring a RYLA
participant, suggested we invite them to speak at a meeting.
Val Grandison: Scones organized – Val, Margaret & Richard.
Frank: Maxine away for four weeks shortly, Frank promises no more pizza or
hotdogs.
Richard: 30 chairs in shed, trying to sell by Gum Tree and Facebook – not a lot of
interest.
Wayne: Club has donated $1000 to Apex Outback Postie Ride, thankyou letter
received. Last year $97 000 raised. This years event being run 28 – 31 August,
1000km off road. First unit is paid for and ready for use by Cancer Families,
slabs are down for 2nd & 3rd units. This year will cover cost of 4th unit.
Sergeant Peter Oswald: Fines $2.00. Sue Liebelt requested to photoshop a photo
from Changeover; Rick back from Pacific Cruise – loved sharing his cruise with
lots of kids. Robert V – Christine on giggle juice at Changeover so Ossie couldn’t
hear.
Raffle draw: Drawn by Jackie – won by Robert Cross.
President’s Report: Brian Lucas. Trevor Ellis has resigned, he is to be made an
honorary member – letter has been sent to Trevor advising that he his welcome
anytime.
Bike Trail_ Awaiting report from Mayor Paul re discussion with Minister.
Guest Speaker: Peter Oswald – Macualr Degeneration
Due to technical difficulties – involving eight people standing around a laptop –
the talk was not able to proceed (was it the Sydney virus). It will be
rescheduled.
