Cinque Terre Trip Itinerary:
Day 1---Hotel Maggiori*** -Moneglia 3-night stay
Meet and greet at Florence airport and transfer with private bus from Florence airport to the hotel in
Moneglia.
Included services: private transfer by bus from Florence to Moneglia, English speaking assistant for meet
& greet at the airport and during the transfer to the hotel.
Day 2
In the morning train to Camogli and meeting with your local English speaking hiking guide. The day starts
with a stroll through the beautiful town with its colored houses and the picturesque harbor facing the Gulf
of Paradise. Then you’ll take a 30 minute ferry boat ride and arrive at the little bay San Fruttuoso with its
ancient medieval abbey. After a short stop in San Fruttuoso your guides takes you on a hiking trail on the
Portofino promontory, offering amazing views. After around 2 hours you will reach the famous village
Portofino. Free time in Portofino and back by ferry boat to Santa Margherita Ligure. Return by train to
you’re the Hotel in Moneglia.

Day 3
In the morning train ride to Sestri Levante and meet with your local English speaking hiking guide. The
panoramic hike to Punta Manara starts right in the historic centre of the charming town Sestri Levante.
The centre is located on a beautiful peninsula, on the one hand the bay of Silence and on the other hand
the so called bay of romances. After a stroll through the centre you follow the trail to the panoramic
promontory Punta Manara. From there you have an incomparable view over the coastline and the
peninsula of Sestri Levante. The circle trail brings you back to Sestri Levante. In the afternoon we
suggest a visit to an olive oil mill in Sestri Levante. The owners of the oil mill will explain the junction of
the olive oil press and much more interesting facts about the olive oil production in Liguria. Of course you
will also taste the olive oil of their production. Return by train to your accommodation in Moneglia.

Day 4---Hotel Argentina*** -Riomaggiore 3-night stay
In the morning check out of the hotel. A private bus takes the group from Moneglia to La Spezia Harbour,
where the English speaking tour guide waits for you. Boat ride from La Spezia to the little Palmaria Island
lying in front of the picturesque village Portovenere. There is a beautiful hike around the island, leading
through the characteristic Mediterranean vegetation and offering magnificent views over the Gulf of Poets
and to Portovenere. You will see also former quarries of the prestigious black marble of Portovenere, and
there is a cave where prehistoric discoveries were made. In the afternoon return by boat to Portovenere
and free time for a visit. Return by boat to La Spezia and by private bus to the hotel in Riomaggiore.

Day 5
Today you will hike on one of the most beautiful trails of the National Park! In the morning meeting with
the English speaking hiking guide and train ride to Corniglia. After a stroll through the characteristic
village Corniglia you follow the trail through terrace fields with vineyards high above the sea until you
reach the little hamlet Volastra. Here you meet a local wine grower, visit our didactical vineyard and of
course also taste the wines accompanied by typical snacks. Then you continue the hike to Manarola and
the day ends with a walk on the panoramic Via dell’Amore to Riomaggiore.

Park Cinque Terre, wine tasting with snacks in Volastra and visit of the didactical vineyard.
Day 6
In the morning meeting with the English speaking hiking guide and train ride to Vernazza, the so called
pearl of the Cinque Terre. The picturesque village has a castle high above the sea and a beautiful church
by the harbor. From Vernazza you will hike through olive and vineyards until you reach a hill with terrace
fields above Monterosso. Here a young couple of local winegrowers awaits you for a visit of the cellar and
a tasting of the wines with snacks. Then the trail leads you down to Monterosso, the largest Cinque Terre
village.
Free time for a stroll along the promenade or to relax on the beach. Back by train to Riomaggiore or
alternatively by ferry boat.

Day 7---Hotel Pitti Palace*** – Florence 2-night stay
After breakfast check out in the hotel in Riomaggiore and bus transfer to Florence. Luggage drop off at
the hotel. In the afternoon discover Florence during a 3 hours guided walking tour! The marvelous
Renaissance city, the heart of the European culture and capital of Tuscany, has inspired many famous
artists, such as Dante, Michelangelo, Donatello, Machiavelli, Leonardo da Vinci and Brunelleschi. A
professional tour guide will give you many information about the story of the city. You will see the
cathedral and baptistery squares with Giotto's bell-tower and Brunelleschi's dome as well as medieval
Florence between the Cathedral and Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and The Loggia dei Lanzi.

take the train that connects the five villages of Cinque Terre or whatever, may do so.
