Week 1
Cooking Contest Winner: ORLA!!!
Chocolate Muffins makes 4
Ingredients:
1/2 package JIFFY Chocolate Muffin Mix
1/2 egg
1/8 cup unsweetened applesauce
Handful of chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Put 4 paper baking cups into a muffin pan
Blend all ingredients in a medium bowl with a wooden spoon
Fill muffin cups half full
Bake about 15-17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the largest muffin comes out clean
Week 2
Pizza
Ingredients:
Flour
Pizza dough
Mozzarella cheese
Tomato Sauce
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
Sprinkle flour on the dough and on your hands. Use your hands to knead the dough for a few minutes. Put
flour on the table and place the dough in the flour. With the heel of your hands spread the dough out. You will
have to do this several times to get the dough to stay stretched out.
Spread pizza sauce over the dough. Spread it as evenly as you can edge to edge on the pizza.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pizza.
Place pizza on tin foil, sprayed with PAM spray. Bake in the oven for approximately 18-20 minutes.
Week 3
S’Mores Granola Bars
Ingredients:
3/4 cup bisquick baking mix
¾ cup quick oats
1/2 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter (4 tbsp), melted
Handful of chocolate chips
Handful of mini-marshmallows
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt the butter in the microwave. Mix all the ingredients together except the chocolate chips and the
marshmallows. Mix well.
Add the chocolate chips and marshmallows and mix.
Press a thin layer of mixture evenly in an ungreased pan.
Bake until center is set, 15 to 17 minutes. When cool cut into bars.
Week 4
Ham and Cheese Quiche
makes 4
*Crust*
Ingredients:
1 cup bisquick
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp of warm water
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Spray muffin trays with PAM spray.
Melt butter in the microwave. Add the bisquick, melted butter, water and mix thoroughly until a dough forms.
Press dough into the bottom and sides of the muffin tins.
*Filling*
Ingredients:
1 egg
½ cup milk
Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Whisk egg and milk together in a bowl using a fork. Pour or spoon into each muffin cup. Sprinkle cheese on
top.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
Week 5
Banana Cream Pie
makes 4
*Graham Cracker Crust*
Ingredients:
2 whole graham crackers
1/8 cup of sugar
2 ½ tbsp of butter
Instructions:
Put graham crackers in a plastic baggies and crush until finely crumbled.
Melt butter in microwave. Mix in the graham crackers and sugar. Stir well.
Press into the bottom of a cupcake liner.
*Filling*
Ingredients:
2 slices Banana
1 ¼ cup Milk
4 heaping tbsp Banana Cream Instant Pudding
Cool whip
Instructions:
In each cupcake liner, place 2 banana slices on top of the graham cracker mixture.
Whisk banana cream pudding with milk using a fork until it becomes thick.
Spoon cool whip on top.
Refrigerate to set.
Week 6

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
3/8 cup granulated sugar
3/8 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Blend butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and
vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by
rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.
