Job Title: Clinical Psychologist – Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Description:
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico Health
Sciences Center is accepting applications for an academic faculty clinical psychologist, suitable
for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The assignment will be through the
Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The position is responsible for clinical and
educational responsibilities, in a variety of settings including acute inpatient care facilities,
outpatient clinics, psychiatric emergency facilities and consult liaison settings.
The position offers a multi-cultural clinical care experience, an opportunity for multi-disciplinary
scholarly activities and research opportunities as well as the potential for leadership and
administrative development in a large University Health Sciences Center. Educational activities
include supervision of trainees in multiple disciplines, including psychology interns, medical
students, residents, and fellows.
