Byzantine Visions
(Half-day morning tour – departs daily – min. 2 pax)
Morning sightseeing of Istanbul: visit St. Sophia, the magnificent Byzantine Church, now a
Museum. Continue to the Blue Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in Istanbul, famous for its
blue tiles and six minarets. Proceed to the Hippodrome, the former centre of sportive and
political activities of Constantinople. Visit the Grand Bazaar which will tempt even non-shoppers
with its collection of handmade carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs.
NOTE:
Grand Bazaar closed Sundays
St. Sophia closed Mondays, will be replaced with a visit to St. Saviour in Chora.
Ottoman Visions

Afternoon sightseeing in Istanbul: Visit the Topkapi Palace, the former imperial residence from
where the Great Ottoman Empire was once ruled. Today, it is a spectacular museum that has
one of the largest collections of Chinese and Japanese porcelains and the famous treasury of the
Royal Family.

A morning tour: Start with a short visit to the famous Egyptian Spice Bazaar with its mystical
smells of different aromas of spices, as well as shops selling fruit, vegetables, flowers and fish.
Cruise along the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe from Asia as it winds its way from
the Aegean (Sea of Marmara) to the Black Sea. See modern hotels, old wooden villas, palaces of
marble, fortresses and small fishing villages.
Asiatic Visions
(Half-day afternoon tour – departs daily except Mondays and Thursdays – min. 2 pax)
Start with a pleasant drive to the Asian part of Istanbul over the Intercontinental Bosphorus
Bridge. First stop will be at the Camlica Hill, the highest point of Istanbul for panoramic views of
the city. Continue with a short drive to a small village along the Bosphorus, called Beylerbeyi, to
visit the Beylerbeyi Palace. This was the 19th century summer palace of the Ottoman Sultans.

Transfer to an exclusive night club where you will taste the specialties of the rich Turkish cuisine,
dinner will also include limited local drinks. During the dinner (set menu), a spectacular oriental
show will be performed. Return to your hotel. (D)

Princess Island Tour
(Full-day tour – departs daily – min. 2 pax)
You will be collected at your hotel and transferred to the ferry departure point. Take a boat trip
across the Marmara Sea to Buyukada (Grand Island). Lunch at a local fish restaurant. After
lunch, a “phaeton” (horse carriage) tour of the island and free time for leisure before returning to
Istanbul and your hotel. (L)
Bosphorus cruise dinner and show
(Evening tour – departs daily – min. 2 pax)
In the evening, you will be collected at your hotel and transferred to the pier. Depart at 20.30,
cruise on the Bosphorus and enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Istanbul at night. Cruise
under the illuminated suspension bridges and view the Ottoman summer palaces, waterside
mansions and modern villas which line the European and Asian coasts. Your cruise includes
dinner (set menu), limited local drinks and a Turkish dance show including belly dancing. Return
to the pier at approx 24.00 and transfer to your hotel. (D)
