ERA-EDTA WORKING GROUP ON INHERITED KIDNEY DISORDERS
Impulsion Grant : Call for proposals 2014
The ERA-EDTA Working Group on Inherited Kidney Disorders (WGIKD) announces
a call for research proposals on inherited kidney disorders.
This call is aimed at members of the WGIKD working in an academic institution in
Europe. The applicant should be an early-stage researcher (post-doc, intern, CCA,
AHU or equivalent) and must be aged 35 years or less on December 31, 2014.
The aim of the WGIKD is to promote clinical or basic projects pertinent to patients with

that area. Proposals centered on exome/next-generation sequencing will not be a
priority.
The applicant should complete the
attached form. Any ethical aspect
should be addressed.
The applications will be evaluated by
the Steering Committee of the WGIKD,
on the basis of merit, scientific
excellence, and relevance for the field.
Project leaders are committed to
acknowledge the support of the WGIKD
in any publication or presentation
resulting from their work.
The grant holders may be asked to
present their results at the symposium
of the WGIKD during the annual
meeting of the ERA-EDTA.
Successful projects will be funded to a
maximum of 15 K € TTC.
