Bridges to Housing Stability is Hiring a Fulltime Housing Advocate (Case Manager)
Housing Advocate – A small nonprofit organization that assists
homeless households and those at risk of homeless is hiring a full
time case manager to work with clients and landlords. In search of
a committed, multi-skilled human service professional who can use
empowerment approach to directly assess, coach and support
households to progress toward housing stability. Work involves
finding and obtaining housing. Requires a well-organized team
player with empathy, assertiveness, creativity, excellent
communication, networking skills and faith in people; also sales
and negotiating ability. Flexibility and professionalism are a must.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, plus 5
years human service experience working with low income, multichallenged families and individuals. Full-time 40 hr a week
position includes some evenings. Local daytime travel is required
therefore must have own reliable transportation. Competitive
