ARNP – Part-Time
Outpatient - De Soto County Location
Position Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director, ARNP is responsible for direct and indirect medical
patient care in the Medical Outpatient Department.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Must be licensed in the State of Florida as an ARNP; or becomes licensed in FL at time of hire.
2. Prefer five years experience in a psychiatric setting.
3. Prefer experience working with children.
Essential Duties, Requirements & Activities
1.
Performs thorough psychiatric evaluations that result in accurate diagnosis. Demonstrates timely and
accurate documentation. Ability to document to an electronic medical record
2.
Utilizes effective, evidence based medication practices (EBMPS) that are consistent with diagnosis and
presenting problem.
3.
Demonstrates effective coordination to improve treatment outcomes and compliance.
4.
Provides guidance as necessary to therapists, LPN’s, case managers, skills coaches, and other involved
providers. Performance is consistent with licensing standards.
5.
Comply with all CBHC policies and procedures, especially confidentiality and CBHC code of conduct.
6.
This position qualifies for a 7% travel incentive added to employee’s rate of pay.

Psychiatrist - Part Time
Outpatient - De Soto County Location
Position Summary:
Florida licensed Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services to patients in an Outpatient Medication Management
department. Prefer experience treating co-occurring disorders. Prefer ability to treat both adults and children. Will
work between main location and satellite offices.
Minimum Requirements:
1.Must be licensed in the State of Florida as an M.D.
2.Board certified or Board eligible in a psychiatric specialty.
3. Must have two years experience in a psychiatric setting.

Front Desk Specialist – Full-Time (rotating 4 & 5 day work weeks)
Outpatient -De Soto County Location
Position Summary
Employee provides administrative support services to the staff members, and the behavioral health consumers being
served by a community behavioral health center.
Minimum Requirements:
1. High school diploma or its G.E.D. equivalent.
2. Two years of clerical experience.
3. History of on- the-job reliability.
Work Responsibilities:
1. Employee is responsible for welcoming and routing consumers and visitors in person and by telephone in a
busy front desk area.
2. A professional work demeanor, excellent customer service and outstanding communication skills are a
priority.
3. The employee must have the ability and attitude to respectfully relate to individuals regardless of age, level
of functioning or presentation.
4. Employee must understand, maintain, and follow strict HIPAA and confidentiality standards, as well as
working knowledge and understanding of CBHC Mission, Core Values, and Code of Ethics.
5. In addition, employee must have good computer skills and ability to respond quickly in a changing, multitask environment with precision and accuracy in documenting information, collecting fees for services
rendered, scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and coordinating with all agency staff.
6. Knowledge of business office equipment including voicemail and automated phone call system helpful.
7. Employee must be able to manage stressful or difficult situations/people calmly and respectfully. Acts as
back up for Intake Coordinator and Screener.
8. Other duties as assigned by supervisor when needed.
Adult Case Manager– Full-Time (rotating 4 & 5 day work weeks)
TFC - Adult Case Management-De Soto County Location
Position Summary:
Employee is single point of accountability and continuity of care for an adult (ages 18 and over) behavioral health
consumers beings served by a community behavioral health center.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, social work,
psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human
services field.
2.
Minimum one year full time or equivalent experience working with adults experiencing serious mental
illness.
3.
Or, has a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, and three years full time or equivalent
experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness.
4.
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to positively communicate
with consumers, caregivers and community representatives, and to appropriately write progress notes and
treatment plans/service plans.
5.
Must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and abilities that enable a case manager to work
creatively and independently while coordination multiple, complex priority crisis situations.
6.
Must demonstrate excellent trouble-shooting skills in order to manage various consumer placements and
placement options.
7.
Must be flexible and adaptable in adjusting work schedule to meet the needs of a maximum caseload of
(40) adult mental health consumers ages 18 and over.
8.
Position requires a degree of public relations, diplomacy and practical case management knowledge in
order to work with numerous agencies and contracted caregivers.
9.
Must have valid FL driver’s license that reflects a safe driving record and use of personal vehicle.
10. Must have good computer skills in order to enter and retrieve information into an electronic medical record.
Work Responsibilities:
1. Case Manager provides assessment of needs, develops service plans based on assessed identified need, and
links consumer to appropriate community service agencies.
2.
Monitors implementation of service plans, and provides support for the consumer in accordance with F.S.
65-E 15 and Medicaid regulations.
3.
Responsible for insuring that consumers participating in programs receive services appropriate for their
needs.
4.
Coordinates with caregiver/Staff in reference to consumer needs as appropriate.
5.
May be required to transport consumer(s) in personal vehicle.
6.
Must have completed AHCA approved mental health targeted case management training within three
months of employment in order to bill for Medicaid services.
7.
This position qualifies for a 7% travel incentive added to employee’s rate of pay.
