Attention Students, As you know, every student needs 40 hours of community service hours before the end of their 1st
semester of their senior year to graduate. In order to find community service opportunities, you can find them on your
own, through your school e-mail from your Guidance Counselors or from flyers that you can see outside Mrs. Walker’s
and Mr. Komperda’s office in the A wing hallway. I will offer you another opportunity to sign up for several community
service opportunities. The Hillcrest YMCA has 4 events and or programs that they will need several motivated and
trustworthy volunteers for. Those being, a Parents Night Out program, a Know Your Health program and two community
events, with one focusing on Halloween and the other a Pig Roast. The sign-up sheets will be in the Guidance Office or
on the wall in the A wing hallway starting today. If you are interested please stop by the Guidance office for the
information and to sign up. There are only a limited number of spots for students to volunteer so please stop by today.
Remember, you need these hours to graduate so please take this seriously.(9/19)
