Plankton Page First Draft Instructions

Plankton Research Project
Go to http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/marinebio/plankton.html
Choose ONE of the plankton to do a focused study of. Must not be taken by another student.
Write your name and the plankton you chose on the list.
We will be compiling these into a book! I will ask about printing costs/availability because I
would love for us all to have this to take away with us. This will probably be the last year of
marine biology, so let's leave something behind that looks intelligent and professional. :)
This first will be our ROUGH DRAFT. Get the research and sketch out of the way. As we move
towards our final product we will learn/practice skills of design and layout, scanning, editing,
proofreading, and printing. Make this an AWESOME example of Marine Biology 2015!
Requirements:
Plankton diagram (sketch) with labels and scale
Written scientific name (in italics!)
Zooplankton or phytoplankton?
Ocean zone occupied
2 detailed fascinating facts about your plankton
