MATEXI ANNOUNCES THE NEXT LAND ACQUISITIONS AND START OF CONSTRUCTION OF ITS FIRST
RESIDENTIAL PROJECT
Warsaw, April 18th 2012 – MATEXI POLSKA has nominated the contractor for the excavation works for its
project in Bemowo district in Warsaw and secured the land for the next projects all around Warsaw.
Matexi Polska Sp. z o.o. has obtained the building permit for its first project in Warsaw at Górczewska 142 St.
and has nominated the contractor for the excavation works. The construction of the project of 50 residential
units with retail on the ground floor has already started. It will take a year to complete the building. The
occupancy permit is expected in Q2 2013. “We are very excited because this is the first Matexi’s project in
Poland” says Mirek Bednarek, the Country Manager of Matexi Polska, “We are convinced that this is a good
project in a desirable location as we have many inquiries from the clients even though we haven’t started the
sales yet” adds Mirek Bednarek.
“We have been working very hard during last months and we are in a development process of two other
projects, which we will introduce to the market in the coming months” Mr. Bednarek says.
In 1Q 2012 Matexi has acquired a residential development site in Bielany district in Warsaw. The project will be
a medium-scale residential estate for ca. 5.000 sq. m PUM with retail on the ground floor. The property holds a
valid planning permit. Matexi has initiated the designing process and intends to start construction of the
building within next 12 months.
Moreover, Matexi has secured the site in Ursynów district for approx. 100 units project and plans to apply for
the permit by the end of the year.
“These acquisitions are another proof of the supply of the good investments sites in Warsaw and that even
though the negotiations take time, it is worth to be patient and open for different scenarios” added Mirek
Bednarek. As revealed, Matexi is working on the next acquisitions and hopes to introduce next projects to the
market in the coming months.
