Accreditation Specialist
Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower
The Accreditation Specialist helps maintain the Annenberg Center’s status as an approved/accredited
provider of continuing education, by keeping up to date on all accreditor policy and procedure changes,
bringing those changes to the attention of the Continuing Education (CE) Department, and by ensuring
the compliance of all Annenberg Center CE policies and processes.
The Accreditation Specialist constantly monitors the activity files and works with the CE, Business
Development, and Project Implementation departments to procure all necessary documents or
information. The position requires the ability to guide Project Managers and other ACHS staff in applying
the essential accreditation guidelines and sound educational design principles, to ensure certified
projects and programs remain compliant.
The Accreditation Specialist works with the Chair of Eisenhower Medical Center’s (EMC) Education
Committee to manage Grand Rounds, Tumor Boards, Dental Education and other hospital-based
educational programs. He or she will acquire a working knowledge of the Annenberg Center’s
registration and evaluation databases, sufficient to enter activity data and generate participant and
evaluation reports. The Accreditation Specialist assists with the grant reconciliation process, identifying
and when necessary, entering required documents into the company grant portals. The position reports
to the Director of Continuing Education.
Education
 Required: High School Diploma.
 Preferred: College Degree in a Clinical Specialty (RN or LVN, preferred, not required).
Experience
 Required: Professional experience in directly-related field.
 Preferred: Professional level of knowledge in CE, accreditation, and educational process.
Scientific or medical background. Clinical Experience.
Compensation
Compensation for this full-time, non-exempt position includes base salary and the standard Eisenhower
Medical Center benefits package.
