A Candidate should have a significant list of publications in prestigious periodicals from the Master Journal List. Fluent knowledge of Polish language in writing and speaking, and the knowledge of English language are required. It is also necessary that the candidate has experience in performing and participating in scientific research and in research-development works from the range of materials science. Admission requirements: The degree of doctor habilitatus or equivalent in the discipline of materials science, and the significant and creative achievements in academic, professional or artistic area, confirmed by scientific or implementation achievements, recognized abroad Significant scientific, didactic and organizational achievements, gained in previous employment/role and supported by correspondingly high bibliometric parameters (minimum Hirsh index h=10, the minimum total number of citations without self-citations 150). Experience in managing local and international research works and projects, commissioned by external entities. Long-time experience in teaching, including lectures and seminars. Very good command of English, allowing for conducting lectures in the field of materials science independently and professionally. Extensive research experience in the field of materials science with particular emphasis on issues of surface engineering. Extensive research experience in the field of production and characteristics of metallic, oxide and organic coatings on the surfaces of metals, alloys, intermetallic alloys and surface alloys.
