Graduate Student Position
Job Description
The graduate coordinator for the Fine Arts Living-Learning Center works with the Fine Arts
LLC advisory board, which represents the School of Music, the Department of Art, the
Department of Theatre Arts, the Division of Film and Digital Media in the Department of
Communication Studies, and Campus Living and Learning. The coordinator will support the
success of the LLC by managing the application and acceptance process, coordinating student,
faculty, and guest artist/scholar participation in co-curricular and community events, and meeting
regularly with the Fine Arts LLC advisory board to plan events, support recruitment, and report
on student participation.

The position will coordinate and supervise the implementation of
the Fine Arts LLC activities and events. Responsibilities will
include working with Campus Living and Learning to recruit and
retain students, and coordinate curricular and co-curricular
activities involving students, faculty, and guest artists and
scholars. Filling this position with a highly motivated and
qualified graduate student will support the mission of the Fine
Arts LLC to provide an on-campus living environment which
encourages interdisciplinary creativity.
Essential Functions
* Coordinate and oversee all Fine Arts LLC sponsored activities.
* Coordinate and oversee Fine Arts-LLC student participation in all preselected Fine Arts Events.
* Assist the Fine Arts LLC advisory board with the overall planning for
the content of the Fine Arts LLC experience, including sponsored fine
arts events and collaborative arts projects.
* Manage recruitment, application and selection to the Fine Arts LLC.
* Work with Fine Arts LLC advisory board to administer the LLC budget
* Serve as a liaison between the Fine Arts LLC and Campus Living and
Learning concerning the living arrangements and spaces for the LLC.
* Coordinate marketing and publications including the web page.
Answer public inquiries and handle promotion.
