Job Readiness Package
Brief
The Job Readiness package is a coordinated program that outlines the essential skills, expectations and requirements needed when entering the world
of work. Students will develop life skills & core skills for work to allow for successful transitioning. The program also provides students with a quality
pathway plan and links to industry and further training options. We will be leveraging and involving professionals to support student needs and
transition.

Job Club Package
Brief
The Job Club will provide students who are work ready with intensive job searching support. Students will have access to a local job board and
links to local business and industry. They will work closely with MWLP staff on a career/ exiting plan and exploring employment options.

Brief
Facilitate and provide personalised workshops, seminars, training and professional development opportunities to parents and educators within
your school community. Engage with parents and families to enhance their awareness of opportunities for young people and build capacity in
parents to confidently support their young person and actively engage with and contribute to the school community.

1 x Workshop and/or seminar for parents per term
4 x training sessions designed to transform parents into additional career support resources within their school and community.

has an added bonus of assisting industry to see the long term benefits of engaging with schools. Work closely with business, industry and the school
to build community capacity, broader curriculum enrichment and collaboration within the school.

and transition advice, career resources, events and employment opportunities.
Our service provides knowledge and advice about Career and Transition to support and connect you with, education and training information,
employment opportunities and career resources, to make it easier for you to find out about current job vacancies and programs and services
that meet your needs. We will follow up enquiries to the service within 24 hours to save you precious time and effort.

simply be better informed to support young people in their families or friendship networks, The website allows users to connect with other parents,
find out what’s happening in the local community, connect with career professionals and become a partner in learning.
You will be able to advertise your school on this website for 12 months via a permanent link on the home page.
You will also be entitled to submit a Good News Story about your school, that will be featured on this website, four times per year i.e. once per
term. This is a targeted way of engaging with your school community and to raise awareness of your school’s great work with the broader
Macarthur community.
