 Please print off these pages and check off assignments completed and attach to
work to be turned in. Remember that your child has 10 days to complete these
assignments after a snow day is called. Thanks!!
 Each assignment is approximately 30 min. or until completed

1. Reading: Read for approx. 30 min with books of your choosing/poetry
notebook/or from www.Raz-Kids.com /or list title and author of books read during
this time period

2. Writing: Write about what you did on your Snow Day (begin with a topic
sentence, 3 details using complete sentences, and a closing sentence), this can be
done on notebook paper or any paper you have available

3. Word Work: Study your Weekly Spelling and Sight Words (remember these can
be found on my website if it is the beginning of the week)

4. Math: Complete the “Math Facts” page (on the following page) using any strategy

5. Science/Social Studies: Choose one: Write about the weather (how much snow,
temperature, describe the weather (sunny, cloudy, snowing, windy, etc.) or utilizing
a map: write down the name of a country, two states, and two cities of your
choosing. Whichever choice you chose in the first Blizzard Bag please do the other
option for today.
