Life Together at Bethany Covenant Church
Our vision is to make a lasting impact upon the community around us with the Gospel
message of Jesus Christ! We seek to use God’s Word to guide our actions.
We therefore agree together to…
●
Seek, as a body, to be in prayer and submission to the Holy Spirit.
I Thessalonians 5:16-19
●
Build up and encourage each other. I Thessalonians 5:11
●
Make positive investments in each other’s lives, allowing the peace of Christ to
guide our decisions and unite us in thankfulness. Colossians 3:15-16
●
Seek to communicate clearly, completely and directly. Ephesians 4:15-16
●
Offer our opinions with gentleness and humility. Colossians 3:12-14
●
Accept others’ opinions with compassion, kindness, and patience.
Colossians 3:12-14
●
Believe the best of each other and give each other the benefit of the doubt.
Philippians 4:8-9
●
Seek to discover what is best for our church as a whole, not what may be best for
us or for a specific group in the church. Philippians 2:3-6
●
Commit to being inconvenienced for the sake of the Gospel. Philippians 2:5-11
●
Accept disagreement, conflict and evaluation as normal and natural.
Philippians 4:2-3
●
Respect, love, and honor those in all leadership positions in the church.
I Thessalonians 5:12-13
●
Walk hand-in-hand even though we may not always see eye-to-eye.
Colossians 3:14-15
