What’s New in Fifth Grade??? Our Week!!! I am so blown away at what a difference a week makes. The students have been working so hard to learn and follow through with our classroom expectations. Thanks for all of your hard work. I can see improvements each and every day!! We began switching rooms for math on Monday. Everything seems to be going very smoothly. If there are any questions or concerns regarding placements for math groups, please let me know. We met with our kinder buddies on Wednesday afternoon. We interviewed each other and got to know more about our new special friend. It was really touching to see the fifth graders take on leadership roles with the young learners at Saint Ambrose. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to all of the parents that came to Back to School Night on Thursday evening. I am so blessed to be working with such supportive and encouraging families. If you were unable to attend, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. We have been exploring more about the scientific method. Ask your fifth grader about their Parachute Gravity Lab or the Ball Bouncing Lab. We have some very knowledgeable scientists in our learning community this year. What’s Coming Up??? Remember to keep working on our monthly project. The students will be supplied with a white bag from school if needed. Copies of project directions can be found on my webpage. Project due dates ca be found in the chart below.
