Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and accounting files for budgeting and accounting purposes. Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements and analyses of all account balances and activities. Coordinate with intercompany teams on projects and for necessary daily information. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of billing and cash settlements. Monitor, track and reporting on time sheets and billable hours. Review daily transactions in expense accounts to ensure the recognition of expenses at proper entity levels. Preparation of monthly balance sheets and any roll-forwards including accounts for investments, distributions and other payable/receivable accounts. (Invoicing/cash application/reporting/collections, etc.) Assessment of internal controls, including reviews of risk areas. Assist in the analysis of revenue and expenses, as well as forecasting for revenue and budgeting projections. Assist with the preparation and analysis of various audits. (Client/month end/year end, etc.) Assist with budget preparation and preparing monthly variance analyses. Maintenance and tracking of contracts and vendors. Monitor and handle purchasing requirements. Collections and past due maintenance and reporting. Ad hoc project and analysis reporting. Experience Must have payroll experience. Experience with Paychex is a plus but not mandatory. Should have advance experience with QuickBooks. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. Experience working with non-profit is a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience
