HWM 1100A WDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer The HWM 1100A series of DWDM optical passives are used to implement Harmonic's DWDM solutions. Due to their exceptional flatness and performance, these multiplexers can be used to either multiplex or demultiplex a set of wavelengths on the ITU Grid. This allows the operator to reduce the number of spares to account for, and greatly simplifies the system. The HWM 1100A family allows combining or separating 2, 4, 8 or 16 DWDM channels on the ITU Grid. The modules are designed to fit into the HLP 1000 platform (4 RU high, 12 single-width modules). This allows for a complete DWDM system solution in a single platform. In case single width modules are used and space is an issue, it is recommended to use the HLP 1001 optics minitray (1 RU high, 3 single-width modules). NWM 3100 Optical Node WDM Multiplexers The NWM 3100 series of CWDM and DWDM optical passives are used to implement Harmonic’s CWDM and DWDM solutions from the node. These optical multiplexers are designed to combine two or four CWDM or DWDM wavelengths from the ITU grid. The NWM 3100 modules are designed for mounting in a node or splice enclosure. NAD 3100 WDM Optical Add/Drop Multiplexers The NAD 3100 series of three-fiber optical multiplexers are used to either add or drop one wavelength from the CWDM or DWDM wavelength grid. HWM 1100-20D01 1310nm DWDM Multiplexers The HWM 1100-20D01 allows operators to leverage their existing fiber for signficantly more bandwidth. Designed for use with the PWL 4112S-DXX and the NWM 3100-20D01, this 1310nm solution enables the transportation of up to eight wavelengths over a single fiber. All the modules are designed for the HLP 1000 platform, providing a complete DWDM system solution on a single platform. NWM 3100-20D01 1310 nm DWDM Demultiplexers The NWM 3000-20D01 allows operators to leverage their existing fiber for significantly more bandwidth. Designed for use with the PWL 4112S-DXX and the HWM 1100-20D01, this 1310nm solution enables the transportation of up to eight wavelengths over a single fiber. The modules are designed to be mounted in a node or splice enclosure.
