Licensed Psychologist, Consultant SERVICES: Helena Autism Therapy Center provides individual, family and group services to children ages two to seven with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Services are provided in center based setting in Fridley, MN and in the children’s residence. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: As a consulting role, the Licensed Psychologist (LP) will provide direct supervision to the mental health professionals who conduct diagnostic assessments and psychological testing for children, ages 2-7, on the Autism Spectrum. The LP/Consultant will oversee and approve assessment tools, draw a determination based on findings and develop a subsequent plan for services. In addition, as deemed appropriate, the LP/Consultant will provide professional collaboration with other professionals involved in the client’s care. QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified as a Mental Health Professional; Master's or Doctoral degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university; independently licensed as a Licensed Psychologist. Fully credentialed with Medical Assistance and commercial insurance companies (BCBS, UBH Medica BHP – U Care and Preferred One, MHP, and HealthPartners) preferred, but HFS staff will assist in the credentialing process if necessary. Trained to conduct psychological assessments with children ages 2-7 on the Autism Spectrum. Trained to conduct IQ testing with children ages 2-7. (IQ testing with children ages 2-7, on the Autism Spectrum, is preferred). Successfully complete a criminal background check; excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Willing to work a flexible schedule based on client assessment needs, Monday through Friday with one week advanced notice of the scheduled assessment. The number of assessments will vary each week.
