Enabling Enterprise
Wednesday 17th
On
June the
whole school will be taking part
in the Enabling Enterprise
Challenge Day. The children will
work in teams to design a new
society on a distant moon! They
will be developing their
challenge and leadership skills,
through teamwork, problemsolving and co-operation and at
the end of the day each team
will have created their dream
city!
End of Term
Medical Appointments
School closes at 3.05pm on
Friday 17th July for the Summer
Holidays. There will be a disco
for all the pupils on this day.
All appointments should be taken
after school time and not during,
if at all possible.
The children return to school on
Monday 7th September.
Please inform the school office, in
advance, of any appointments
your child may have and provide
proof if you have any.
Sodexo Vacancy
There is a vacancy in the school kitchen for a Food
Service Assistant. The post is for twenty hours a
week, term time only. You will require an enhanced
DBS.
The closing date for applications is Friday 26th June.
If you are interested please hand in your CV to the
school office for the attention of Lyndsay Saye.
Health for Life
As part of Gardening Club the children have
been growing herbs, vegetables and fruit (kindly
donated by Sodexo) on the allotment. Some of
these plants are now ready to eat and we are all
excited and looking forward to trying them in
our school dinner!

On Wednesday 1st July the
Year 6 children will attend
their secondary schools and
the children here will spend
the day with the teachers
they will be having in
September.
