Cannot perform this skill PERFORMANCE CRITERIA Standard Drug Administration Understands the mechanism of action, appropriate therapeutic use, dosing, adverse effects, monitoring parameters, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of all transplant medications (including: cyclosporine, tacrolimus, mycophenolate, simulect, prednisone, and thymoglobulin) Demonstrates ability to prevent, detect, monitor, document, and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors Interprets immunosuppressant drug levels while considering patient-specific data and pharmacokinetic principles.
