BIS: Stockman Stud’s SELF PE CREAM ADULT
Best N/Self: Wicormill Stud’s LILAC DLAMATION ADULT
Judge Gerry Harvey Writes: “Its always a pleasure to judge a show on the Isle of Wight and those
of us travelling across from the mainland are always made welcome.
In years gone by if exhibitors from the mainland ventured across to the island, their competition
was few are far between. However in the last ten years or so a number of Islanders have made
significant progress in both acquiring and breeding good stock and have proven they can compete at
major shows on the mainland successfully. They also despite the obvious difficulties in travelling to
the mainland, regularly exhibit and support shows all along the South Coast.
I had just over 100 exhibits to judge today, and amongst these I had a very good entry of 40 Selfs.
Selfs – In the B/W/C/G AA Challenges Springville Stud took top honours with their intermediate PE
White sow which had a good profile and shoulder, good coat and well shown. 2. Stockman Stud’s
intermediate PE Golden sow of excellent colour throughout, good coat and head points. 3. Stockman
Stud with another intermediate PE Golden sow.
