POU Three quotes have been received for $18,000, $19,000 and $11,000.
Stephen to contact Stewart & Cavalier to ask for their quote to include
installation, crane hire, reinstatement of grounds & transporting pou to
site. Stephen will e-mail members when this information is to hand.
HEALTH
AND  Gavin presented information that has been received from the MOE.
SAFETY
 School has set up a Health & Safety Committee and initial meeting

School has received notice of 2016 staffing at 23.68.
As final Ops Grant notice not available until next week a revised
budget will not be available until the next meeting.
Breakfast Club has been established at the school.
Following the recent Spellathon and Quiz Night the PTA are in a
position to pay the remaining $5235 for the turf. Gavin to contact
PTA first before proceeding. Letter of thanks to be written to PTA
acknowledging this achievement.
Matheletics and Reading Eggs – agreement signed with 3P Learning
to use Reading Eggs Yrs 0-3 and Matheletics Yrs 4-6 at a cost of
$8328.82 plus GST. Children will have access to both at school and
home from Friday until 28 January 2017.
Xero Account Programme. We are looking at moving our school
accounts package from Musac to Zero.
Pukete School keen to be involved in the Community of Learning
Offer from the Ministry of Education.
Review of Teacher Appraisal document tabled.
Next meeting date changed to 4 November

Recommendations:
 Pukete School redesigns the teacher appraisal system to place
greater emphasis on teacher improvement and student
achievement.
 The Senior Leadership team use a Teacher Only Day in January
2016 to begin this process.
 The senior leadership team consider using a consultant if viable
and capable of delivering high quality PD.
 The Senior Leadership team consider using the appraisal web
site Ruia as a resource.
