Dance: Twinsburg High School’s 2014 Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 7:30-10:30 pm. Doors will open at
7:30 pm and students may begin leaving the dance at 10pm.
Dance Dress Code: The dress code for the dance is formal. Any attire that is considered distracting will not be permitted.
Females:
Males:
~All dresses must be beyond your fingertips when your arms are at your side. ~Only dress pants are permitted, no jeans or shorts.
~Necklines of dresses must not be lower than your armpits.
~Shirts must have collars and must be left on during the dance.
~Slits in dresses must not be higher than mid-length.
~Two-piece dresses may not expose more than two inches of your midriff.
~Cut out/see through items are not permitted.
Dance Atmosphere:
The dance is an inclusive dance for all of our students, 9 th to 12th grade. The commons will be partially illuminated to promote a safe but fun
atmosphere. A breathalyzer test will be administered to all students/guests upon entering and exiting the dance.
Ticket Sales: This year, tickets will cost $15. Each student must purchase their own ticket. Only those students that have been approved to bring a
guest will be allowed to buy 2 tickets.
To purchase a ticket, students must have all outstanding fees paid from 2013-2014 school years and before. This does not include the
current year’s (2014-2015) fees.
Tickets will be sold BEFORE and AFTER school this year. In years past, tickets were sold during lunch, THIS WILL NOT BE THE CASE THIS
YEAR. To accommodate the many underclassmen students that ride the bus, only Freshmen, Sophomores and Senior CVCC students will be
allowed to purchase their tickets before school. Juniors and Seniors will be required to purchase tickets after school.
Due to the high demand of Twinsburg students, guest tickets (students who are not Twinsburg High students) will only be sold the last day of sales.
To purchase guest tickets, the student will be required to turn in the completed guest form when the tickets are bought.
The following will be the ticket sales schedule for Homecoming 2014:

Monday, September 29: PM SALES ONLY- Jr/Sr sales: 2:10 pm – 2:45 pm

Tuesday, September 30– October 2: AM SALES - 6:40 am – 7:10 am
PM SALES - 2:10 pm – 2:45 pm

Monday, October 6: Guest Ticket Sales
Guest Student Tickets: If your son or daughter is interested in inviting a student that attends another high school or has already graduated high
school (but is under 21 years of age), they will need to pick up and properly have the guest fill out the form. All guests must be attending an
accredited high school or be under 21 years of age with proper ID. Forms will be available on Monday, SEPTEMBER 15, 2014. Students can pick
up a form in the front office, guidance office, or outside of Room C109. Guest forms are due, completed, at the time of purchase on Monday,
October 6. Students will not be able to purchase their guest a ticket without a completed form. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis.
Homecoming Game: On Friday, October 10, the Twinsburg Tiger football team will take on Strongsville in the Homecoming game. The 2014
Homecoming Court, as well as the King and Queen, will be introduced to the parents/fans before the game at approximately 6:35 pm. Please join us
in celebrating this exciting event.
Homecoming Court: The freshman, sophomore, and junior classes will each have one male and one female representing their class on court. The
senior class will have 5 males and 5 females on 2014 Homecoming Court this year. The king and queen will be selected from this group of 10. The
2014 Homecoming King and Queen will be announced before the Homecoming Game on Friday, October 10. Elections will be held by Student
Council on the following dates:

Court Elections: Wednesday, October 1

King and Queen Elections: Thursday, October 9
Homecoming Assembly: The Homecoming Assembly will take place on Friday, October 10, 2014. Students will assemble in the gym to have the
2014 Homecoming Court presented to them. Students are required to attend the Homecoming Assembly and are expected behave in a proper way.
Homecoming Pictures: Venditti’s Photography will be taking formal pictures at the Homecoming Dance. Order forms will be available during
ticket sales and at the dance. An announcement will be made when Homecoming pictures are in for pick up.
