CREATION MYTH ASSIGNMENT (100 points)
We have been studying the various creation myths from around the world along with the
various motifs of creation myths. Your assignment will be to model the myths and create your
own, original “Creation Myth”.
Requirements
1. The myth must explain the creation of the universe and humans (feel free to create anything
else you would like as well).
2. The myth must include at least 5 creation motifs (you may of course include more motifs).
These should be highlighted in some way for the rough and final drafts.
3. The myth must include the literary elements of metaphor and personification.
4. The myth must have a cover page that is representative of some aspect of the myth.
5. The myth must be at least 1 ½ -2 pages in length.
5. The myth must be organized into paragraphs.
6. The myth must have the proper heading, paging, and creative title.
7. Write the myth together in your group. This means collaboratively on the whole story, not
just each member write a paragraph. You will do this in Google Docs which you will share with
