Explore why all Christians should study theology
Survey various ways to study theology
Discover that the Bible unlocked the Western mind, triggering the passion for
advancement and progress, fostering the notions of human dignity and freedom,
equipping societies to cultivate compassion and build strong families, transforming
education, and inspiring literature
Investigate the statements of faith of Christian denominations and independent churches
Understand why Christians consider the Bible to be the Word of God
Trace the origins, preservation and establishment of the canon of Scripture.
Define and discern the concepts of inerrancy, infallibility and inspiration
Study the characteristics of Scripture: the Bible’s authority, clarity, necessity and
sufficiency
Analyze how we know that God exists
Question how we can really know God
Learn how to precisely define and ably explain and defend our beliefs, in speaking and in
writing
