2015 overseas Chinese youth "Chinese root seeking Tour" - Quanzhou China winter camp 2015 overseas Chinese youth "Chinese root seeking Tour" Quanzhou winter camp is sponsored by China Foreign Affairs Office . The purpose is to help the majority of overseas Chinese youth to learn Chinese and understand China and Chinese culture. It is undertaken by China Foreign Affairs Office of Fujian Province branch. Australian Fujian Association is proudly to be their partnership. The winter camp will held in the famous historical and cultural city Quanzhou of Fujian Province for a period of twelve days (19 December 2015 to 30 December 2015). Quanzhou has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Is the world's first "world multicultural display center," the United Nations Educational, scientific and cultural organization". Quanzhou has a large number of national intangible cultural heritage, such as Huian stone, South Shaolin martial arts, Huian women's dress, Dehua porcelain, etc.. Quanzhou is a political, economic, cultural and transportation center of the southeast coast of Fujian province. In the history, Quanzhou is "the first port in the East", is the starting point of the ancient Silk Road in ancient china. Quanzhou has a pleasant climate, beautiful scenery and many scenic spots, such as Quanzhou Qingyuan mountain scenic area, Huian Chongwu city scenic area, the tomb of Zheng Chenggong. The winter camp students will fly from Sydney to Xiamen city in Fujian Province on 19 December 2015. We will accommodate in Quanzhou Chinese Academy, visit Quanzhou and the nearby city of scenic spots and historical sites and the famous Mount Wuyi, enjoy the colorful folk art. We also participated in a series of carefully set up Chinese and cultural arts courses and activities, such as learning Chinese knowledge, basketball training, Chinese martial arts, visiting enterprise etc.. This winter is not only a happy holiday, it will be a rare opportunity to experience and learn Chinese culture. Time: 19 December 2015 to 30 December 2015. Age for applicant: twelve to seventeen years old, healthy Chinese youth Cost: Australia dollar $1580.00, including round-trip international air tickets and accommodation. Studying in Quanzhou during the event, tickets for visiting, foods, transportation will be in charge of by China Foreign Affairs office . Other costs, such as visa fees will pay by yourself.
