 Become familiar with all sections of the Assessment
 Provide a positive test taking environment.
 Ensure each testing location has a “Testing—Do Not

Attend all district assessment training sessions.
Plan and get district approval for your school’s
administration schedule, room arrangements, test

persons assisting with sign language, Braille, large print
testing and other school building staff that assist with
the administration and/or processing of secure test
materials.

 Notify your district assessment coordinator of all testing

 Arrange a plan for students requiring additional time

to be moved to a secure location. Persons monitoring
extended time testers must be trained.
Create a student seating plan to provide an optimal
testing situation. Students are to be separated by
enough space to ensure independent work and to
prevent collaboration during the testing sessions.
Access Supports and Accommodations
 Provide test proctors with a list of accommodations

needed per students’ IEPs and 504 plans.

Returning Materials
 Provide a list of student invalidations to your district
assessment coordinator for approval.
 Process, package and return testing materials to your

district assessment coordinator, according to your
school’s Secure Test Material Handling Plan.
Complete and submit a School Site Administration and
Security Report to your District Assessment Coordinator.
This report has check boxes of responsibilities. Boxes
checked ‘no’ must have an explanation provided.
Testing Materials
 Follow your school’s Secure Test Material Handling

Communicate with your district assessment

area for secure test material retention.
Receive test materials from your district assessment
coordinator. Immediately inventory all materials.
Request any additional materials you need from your
district assessment coordinator. Save contractor
boxes materials arrived in for return shipment.
Organize test material for each class. All test material
must remain in a secure location until testing begins.
Document overage (blank) standard form test booklets
and accommodated material Kits with demographics
of the student being assessed.
Deliver test material to test proctors.
