Minutes of meeting held on 8 June 2015 – the minutes were agreed. 2. Key Policy Issues/Events of the week – the Minister’s diary, Government Agenda, Dáil and Seanad Schedules for the week were discussed. The Government Meeting will take place on Tuesday morning while the EMC meeting has been cancelled this week. On Wednesday, a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event will take place in the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Belfast. On Thursday, Second Stage of the Houses of the Oireachtas (Appointments to certain Offices) Bill 2014 will commence in the Dáil. The next Town Hall meeting for the Civil Service Renewal Plan will be held on Thursday, 18 June from 2.30pm to 4.30pm in Trinity College Dublin. This meeting will be hosted by the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. On Friday, Minister Howlin will perform the official opening of Doolin Pier. Also on Friday the Department’s Annual Management Conference will take place in Farmleigh House. Amongst the issues to be discussed will be Civil Service Renewal and the development of the Department. Mr Quinn updated the board for the Office of Government Procurement including the ongoing work on the Heads of Bill that are near completion and discussions with D/ECLG on the possible reformation of the Green Procurement Group. Meet the Buyer event in Belfast on Wednesday will be attended by OGP staff. The first meeting of the Health Steering Group to take place on Thursday Ms Hanlon provided an update for the Expenditure Policy, Management and Evaluation Division including an update on the progress of the capital review and the Fiscal dialogue. Ms O’Donohue updated the Board on the Office of the Government Chief Information Office including the progress on the move to Spencer Dock, the ICT Strategy and the responses from Departments regarding the Digital First call for proposals which were then discussed by the board. Mr Moloney provided an update for the Labour Market and Enterprise Policy Division including the Health Reform Plan, the Pathways to Work scheme and the new codes of practice for State Bodies. In Ms Coleman’s absence Ms Austin provided an update for the board on Expenditure Management, EU Policy and Audit Division including the Second Stage of the Houses of the Oireachtas (Appointments to certain Offices) Bill 2014 will commence in the Dáil on Thursday. Mr Beausang updated the board for the Government Reform Unit including the Data Sharing and Governance Bill, the Statute Law Revision Act, 2015, the extension of Ombudsman’s remit to include private nursing homes, the Regulation of Lobbying Act, 2015, the proposal to amend the Public Service Management Act & Civil Service Regulations Act and the Open Data Strategy Event due to be held on 30 June 2015. Dr Quinn updated the Board for the Reform and Delivery Office including the implementation of CSR and the progress report to Government on 7 July 2015. 3.
