RING ONE – Ridden Showing – Start time 9.30am
Class 1. Green Horse/Pony up to 6 years old, to be shown in a snaffle. See note 3.
Class 2. Ridden Hack
Class 3. Racehorse to Riding Horse
Class 4. Pure and Part bred Arab. See note 2.
Class 5. Show Hunter Pony not exceeding 14hh.
Class 6. Show Hunter exceeding 14hh
Class 7. Open Novice, any age, to be shown in a snaffle. See note 3.
Class 8. Mountain & Moorland, Small Breeds, excluding lead reins, to be shown in natural state.
Class 9. Mountain& Moorland, Large Breeds, to be shown in natural state.
Class 10. Foreign Breeds. See note 4.
Class 11. Show Pony, not exceeding 14.2hh. To be shown plaited.
Class 12. Ridden Showing, exceeding 14.2hh. To be shown plaited.
Class 13. Coloured, Spotted and Palomino.
Class 14. Veteran, 15 years and over.
Class 15. Cob
Ring Championship – 1sts from Classes 1 to 15.
RING TWO – Mini/Equitation – Start time 9.30am
Class 16. Open BTO – lead rein/first ridden winners to go into Mini Championship, all other winners must go into Championship 2.
Class 17. Lead Rein Showing, to be shown plaited. Rider not to have attained their 9th birthday by 1st January. See note 1.
Class 18. First Ridden, rider not to have attained their 10th birthday by 1st January. Lead rein competitors can only enter this class in
their last year of lead rein. See note 1.
Class 19. Lead Rein Equitation, snaffle bridle only, rider not to have attained their 9th birthday by 1st January. See note 1.
Class 20. Lead Rein Mountain and Moorland, to be shown in natural state. Rider not to have attained their 9th birthday by
1st January. See note 1.
Mini Championship – 1sts from Classes 17 to 20 and 16 if lead rein/first ridden winner.
Class 47. Bonny Pony, Handler/rider not to have attained their 13th birthday by 1st January.
Class 21. Juvenile Equitation, snaffle bridle only, rider not to have attained their 13th birthday by 1st January.
Class 22. Junior Equitation, snaffle bridle only, rider not to have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January.

Class 26. Absolute Beginner Working Hunter, no fillers except very small hedge filler, max height 60cms; competitors
entering this class cannot compete in classes 28, 29, 30 or 31. See note 5.
Class 27a. Novice Working Hunter not exceeding 15hh, small hedge filler, hen houses and basic curved fence filler
only, max height 65cms. See note 7.
Class 27b. Novice Working Hunter exceeding 15hh, small hedge filler, hen houses and basic curved fence filler only,
max height 75cms. See note 7.
Class 28. Mountain & Moorland, max height 75cms.
Class 29. Working Hunter Pony not exceeding 15hh, max height 80cms.

Notes.
1. Lead rein and first ridden ponies must not exceed 12.2hh.
2. Unregistered Pure and Part bred Arabs can compete in the Pure and Part bred Arab classes but to
qualify for Ponies UK, Cherif, Ncpa they must be registered with the Arab Horse Society.
3. Combinations entering these classes (classes 1 and 7) must not have won any ridden showing class
before 1st January of the current year.
4. Foreign breeds classes are for breeds which do not already have their own class on the schedule, e.g.
Arabs can’t enter this class.
5. Absolute beginners only please, this class is for competitors new to working hunter classes or
jumping. Combination must not have won any working hunter class before 1st January of the current
year.
6. No competitor is to knowing show under a judge who has bred or produced their horse or pony.
7. Combinations entering these classes (classes 27a and b) must not have won any working hunter class
before 1st January of the current year.
