Matt Mauch is the author of two books of poetry, If You’re Lucky
Is a Theory of Mine, which was the 2012 open-reading period
selection by Trio House Press, and Prayer Book (Lowbrow Press). A
Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative grant recipient, Mauch
teaches in the AFA in Creative Writing program at Normandale
Community College and hosts the annual Great Twin Cities Poetry
Read.
Jefferson Hansen is the author, most recently, of the short story
collection Cruelty (BlazeVox). His selected poems is entitled Jazz
Forms (Blue Lion). He holds a Ph.D. from the SUNY-Buffalo
Poetics Program, where he studied with Robert Creeley and Charles
Bernstein.
Wendy Brown-Báez is a writer, teacher, performance poet and
installation artist. Wendy is the author of a poetry CD Longing for
Home, a full-length collection Ceremonies of the Spirit (Plain View
Press, 2009) and chapbook transparencies of light (Finishing Line
Press, 2011). She has published both poetry and prose in numerous
literary journals.
Evelyn Klein is a freelance writer/teacher/artist. Born in Berlin,
Germany, she spent her formative years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and
came to the Twin Cities area as a young adult. She led a poetry group
at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis for seven years and then
taught writing there and at Century College in White Bear Lake. She
now lives in Woodbury, Minnesota.
Mary Stein Mary Stein is the assistant editor of Conduit and will
soon teach through the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop. Her
work can be found in various journals and has been nominated for
New Stories from the Midwest. She received her MFA from
Vermont College of Fine Arts and is currently working on
completing a collection of stories as well as a chapbook of even
shorter stories.
