You will be working in Veterinary Heaven also known as Avoca Drive Animal Hospital on the
beautiful Central Coast. The Central Coast is an area of outstanding natural beauty and
even better has all the modern conveniences you could ever want. It’s a spouse’s paradise!

the pristine beaches, have a coffee , and then come into work at a comfortable hour, or
leave work early to go for a feel good afternoon swim or snorkel. Major shopping centres,
RTA, Medical centres, Banks everything you could need are all within 3 minuets of the clinic.
The Famous Hunter Valley is less than an hours easy drive away with its award winning
wineries, accommodation award-winning restaurants, which makes for an awesome
weekend away, apart from our own award winning restaurants, perhaps more than 50 very
close to the beach and clinic.
Schooling options are varied with high quality public and private schools very close to the
clinic. Central Coast Grammar is the local prestigious private and Gosford high is a selective
high with outstanding results, they are both less than 15 minuets drive away. Matcham and
Holgate are semi-rural areas veryclose to the clinic with a lovely, safe community feel .
Apart from acreages, waterfront and beach front homes are readily available, all within 10
to 15 minuets of the clinic. The area also boasts fabulous fishing, boating and a wonderful
Sailing club, (home of a recent Olympic champion) loads of picturesque bushwalks in
national parks, and much more than we can list in this add.
Your client base is excellent, great clients have been intentionally selected for. You will join
us in providing the best clinical and client customer service on the Central Coast. Your

You will be working with continually updated equipment including in-house Vet Scan lab
facilities, fluid and syringe pumps, suction unit, multiple new dental units, multiple pulse
oximeters, ultrasound and endoscopes etc.
Avoca Drive Animal Hospital is a 100% Small Animal 1.5 vet practice. The premises are very
pleasant and well cared for with a lovely garden and cottage home-like feel. We have plenty
of grassy, sunny space for walking dogs outside , lots of natural light in the clinic with a
country outlook and it’s air-conditioned throughout.
The Clinic is open Mondays to Fridays and Saturday mornings only, so there are no Sundays
or Public Holidays, which makes for a very civilised lifestyle. In fact, after hours are very
minimal as we have an emergency centre just down the road to use when ever we need it.
There is also a Specialist Referral Surgeon who regularly visits the clinic, to assist you with
your difficult surgical cases or help you learn more advanced procedures. .
You will be paid enough to take “money off the table”, with a good starting salary and a
mutually agreeable reward for productivity. A happy “love people and pets” personality and
great client bonding skills are essential .Good quality surgical experience (minimum of 2
years) are beneficial for the position as there will be some hours where you are the only
vet on the team.
