To be eligible: 1. You must be receiving financial aid 2. You must be an enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (you are ineligible if you have a master’s or a doctorate) 3. You must meet the income guidelines 4. The registered test must be required by an authorized score recipient To be considered for a fee waiver, submit a completed Fee Waiver Request form (paper/pencil test) or CBT Fee Waiver Request form (computer delivered test) and registration form by the appropriate deadline, as shown on each fee waiver request form. All fee waiver requests are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. You are eligible for a fee waiver only once during a testing year. If you qualify, your $50 registration fee and one test fee and/or three Computerized PPST® tests may be waived. (Note: state surcharges still apply for NV and are not waived. PRAXIS SUBSTITUTES: SAT and ACT Requirements to Substitute SAT’s or ACT’s for Praxis 1: SAT: Before April 1, 1995: 450 on Verbal (minimum) and 510 on Math (minimum) with a composite score of 1000. After April 1, 1995: 530 on Verbal (minimum) and 530 on Math (minimum) with a composite score of 1100.
