(Psalm 127) PARTICIPANTS on the course CD: John Bell Fr Timothy Radcliffe OP Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin Revd Dr Jane Leach, Principal of Wesley House (Closing Reflections) John Bell is a Resource Worker with The Iona Community, who lectures, preaches and conducts seminars across the denominations. He is a hymn writer, author and occasional broadcaster, but retains a primary passion for congregational song. John is based in Glasgow and works with his colleagues in the areas of music, worship and spirituality. Fr Timothy Radcliffe OP is Director of the Las Casas Institute, Blackfriars, Oxford. He joined the English Province of the Dominican Order in 1965, and was ordained a priest in 1971. Besides teaching and preaching, Fr Timothy was involved in the Peace movement and in ministry to people with AIDS. An itinerant preacher and lecturer, he was awarded the Michael Ramsey Prize for theological writing in 2007. Revd Prebendary Rose Hudson-Wilkin BPhil Ed Rose was born and grew up in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She was ordained deacon in 1991 and ordained to the priesthood in 1994. She presently serves as a priest in Hackney – North East London. In 2007 she was appointed as a Chaplain to Her Majesty the Queen and in 2010, she became the 79th Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons, the first female appointed to that position. She has published articles and books on theological education, pilgrimage and pastoral supervision. She teaches and supervises in practical theology for the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University. Jane is an ordained Presbyter of the Methodist Church in Britain and a regular broadcaster on Radio 4's Thought for the Day. The course booklet is written by Bishop Stephen Cottrell. BISHOP STEPHEN COTTRELL was consecrated as Bishop of Chelmsford in 2010. Before ordination he worked in the film industry, and for a year at St Christopher's Hospice in Sydenham. A member of the Governing Body of the College of Evangelists, he is the author of numerous books. The course CD is produced by Canon Simon Stanley. CANON SIMON STANLEY is a Co-founder of York Courses and interviews the participants. He is a Canon Emeritus of York Minster, and a former BBC producer/presenter.
