Intro to Industrial Tech (8-9) Career Choices In this course students do a short six week section on drafting using pencil and paper. We then do a short section on transportation with the students building and testing a CO2 car. We then finish out the semester doing a small wood working project after going over safety rules. Residential Carpentry I (9-10) A comprehensive course designed to instruct students in the basic knowledge and skills required for construction of residential structures. Woodworking Principles (9-10) A comprehensive course designed to instruct students in the basic knowledge and skills required for cabinetmaking and furniture design. Carpentry II (10-11) An advanced comprehensive course designed to instruct students in skills pertaining to rough construction and finish work. Furniture & Cabinetry Fabrication (10-11) An advanced level application course designed to provide students with experience in constructing cases, cabinets, counters, furniture and interior woodwork Research & Design in Building Trades (11-12) An advanced research and application course covering specific topics in building construction to include management and “green building” skills.
