ALWAYS include Name & Section on work! Absentee Guidelines: Students are responsible for finding out what was missed. If absent on a due date, the work must be turned in on the day of return. If absent on a test or quiz day, it must be made up on the day of return. Special arrangements can be made due to extended absences or absences prior to a test. Grading: Letter grades will be earned according to district standards. Write with complete sentences using correct punctuation! 2. Indent all paragraphs. 3. Capitalize all proper nouns and sentence beginnings. 4. Use frequently confused words correctly! (contraction of they are) Your or You’re? You're is actually a contraction of "you are," as in "You're cute." Your is a possessive adjective. It describes a noun by telling us to whom it belongs, as in, "I love your new dress!" (The dress belongs to you.)
