Module Aims:
To introduce 3rd Arts Philosophy and part-time students for the evening degree to
metaphysical thought. The views of Aristotle, Aquinas and Leibniz will be specifically
examined. The course aims to highlight how metaphysics shapes other aspects of
philosophy and underpins the kind of principles on which they operate.
