Summary
I was graduated as Mining engineer from Cairo University on 2000. Working currently as a
Corrosion engineer for Qatargas/ Qatar. I was working for KNPC MAA Refinery in Kuwait,
since 9/2009 to 6/2013 , before that I was working as a Corrosion engineer for Bader petroleum
company (BAPETCO) (SHELL -EGPC joint venture Co).
Also I was working for 3 years in the refractory field as a QC eng.(Cleopatra Group).
I have NACE level (II) coating inspector (CIP) Certificate, also I have M.D Diploma in
Corrosion engineering (two years study) as well as attending other training courses for
corrosion, C.P, safety and on job training in Gas and Oil field.

Job Title: Corrosion Engineer
My responsibilities are as the followings:
►Corrosion Activity:

Corrosion monitoring campaign, data analysis and verification. Corrosion inhibitor follow-up (via water
analysis and corrosion monitoring results, and field trial supervision and assessments.
Trouble shooting for corrosion problems and root cause analysis for most corrosion problems.

Utility units follow up and trouble shooting (cooling water and Boiler chemical treatment
programs )
 Review corrosion monitoring philosophy for new project and updating the corrosion related
company procedure
►Cathodic Protection Activity:
 Responsible for pre-commissioning and commissioning test for new constricted C.P system,
Carrying out soil resistivity surveys & Anodes installation.
 Responsible for CP surveys verification and data analysis ( which include potential
measurements and adjustment on all protected structures (pipe lines, plant piping buried and
semi buried tanks and vessels), hardware equipment check for T/R adjustment, test posts,
bonding resistor boxes and junction boxes checks)
 Normal and advanced C.P survey (i.e. On, OFF potential C.P surveys & CIPS , DCVG surveys)
 Trouble shooting for all C.P system (pipe lines , buried and semi buried facility and internal
