TYPE OF COURSE: Lectures and hands-on activities related to water management
and irrigation principles, methods, and applications.

DESCRIPTION:
An introduction of pump and piping systems. Basic water hydraulics
related to irrigation systems. Analysis of plant-water-soil relationships

OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
1. Identify irrigation systems
2. Evaluate water management techniques
3. Apply the principles of soil-water-plant relationships
4. Appraise water sources
5. Analyze irrigation system hydraulics and pumps

WMGT 112 - Course Expectations
1.
Class attendance: Attend each class on time!
2.
Assignments: There are a total of 12 assignments, four assignments per module.
All twelve (12) assignments are to be turned in before class on the day due. Late
assignments are accepted with a 20% penalty per class day. You may turn an
assignment in early or send it with someone to turn in. Assignments will be 50%
of the course grade.
